About Genesis Recovery and Wellness of Ohio
GROW was founded by three partners with experience in the homeless sectors and medical field. Our founders saw the damage that addiction can do to a person’s mental and physical health firsthand as they worked with their community. They knew that something needed to be done to help those struggling with addiction get the help and treatment they deserve. Thus, GROW was born out of a passion for helping others heal and recover from addiction.
Addiction Treatment Programs
At GROW, we are proud to offer outpatient treatment options for our clients. Outpatient treatment is often a good option for those in financial strife, as Medicaid is more likely to cover outpatient treatment costs than it is to cover residential or inpatient treatment. Outpatient treatment is also a good option for those with a strong support system at home, as they can continue living at home and going to school or work while receiving treatment.
Regardless of what level of treatment our clients require, clients will participate in treatments such as:
- Group therapy
- Family therapy
- Cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Dialectical behavior therapy
- Trauma therapy
We can also address underlying issues, such as depression and anxiety.
Outpatient Addiction Treatment
Outpatient treatment is our lowest level of care. It is best suited for those who have already completed a higher level of care or have mild addictions. Our outpatient program (OP) typically meets a few hours a day for a few days a week.
Intensive Outpatient Program
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a step up from traditional outpatient treatment, as it requires more time commitment per week. Our IOP typically meets several days per week for several hours per day.
Partial Hospitalization Program
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is our highest level of care and is best suited for those needing more structure and support than an IOP can provide. PHP typically meets nearly every day of the week for several hours per day.
Sober Living/Recovery Housing
At both IOP and PHP levels care, GROW provides supportive
housing options for male clients who are participating in treatment.
With the help of Genesis Recovery and Wellness in Ohio,
clients may heal from addiction and increase their accountability by living in
a safe, structured environment among peers who are also in recovery. They may
also benefit from the additional structure and support, combined with life
skills training and practice within their community of peers.
Medication-Assisted Treatment
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) can help people recovering from certain addictions, such as opioid use disorder (OUD), stay sober. MAT combines behavioral therapy and medications to reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings, and keep the person in recovery on track.
